Angel Horses, Inc.
Angel Horses, Inc. on Knollwood Lane provides a permanent sanctuary for horses that were teachers and healers in the therapeutic world, and it’s a place where humans can connect with these sensitive beings and all the animals that call the farm home.

Blooms of Lost Acres
A woman-owned micro flower farm that partners with local businesses across Hartford County, spreading happiness through beautiful flowers. Offering flower subscriptions, event decor, DIY buckets, and soon a pick-your-own tulip farm on Lost Acres Rd.

Clark Farms at Bushy Hill Orchard
Bushy Hill Orchard on Bushy Hill Road is 75 acres of apples, blueberries, peaches, plums, pears, nectarines, and vegetables. Visit for the seasonal farm to table café, cidery, ice cream, bakery (famous for apple cider donuts!), and pick your own apples and blueberries.

Coward Farms
Coward Farms on North Granby Road is one of Granby’s newer working farms, growing tobacco and pumpkins. The tobacco grown here is sold to the US Cigar manufacturer General Cigar, which manufactures cigars worldwide. The pumpkins are sold at the Southwick Coward Farm.

Double Nickel Ranch is a horse farm on Kelly Lane, and is the home of Cowboy Mounted Shooting in CT.

Granby Grange
Active for over 100 years, Granby Grange #5 has evolved into a community organization for networking, learning leadership skills, showcasing talents at the Agricultural Fair and state competitions, plus other programs and activities. Granby Grange donates to Waste Not Want Not, FFA and the 4-H club.

Hemlock Knoll Farm
Hemlock Knoll Farm on Loomis Street is run by the Gilbert Family, and they raise Hereford beef cattle, Saanen dairy goats and pigs, show at local fairs, and sell farm raised beef and pork.

Holcomb Farm CSA
Holcomb Farm on Simsbury Road is a 312 acre historic working farm dedicated to responsible agriculture, healthy communities, and real food. It is now a non-profit community farm producing mixed vegetables available through a CSA, home to 10+ acres of public trails, and a member of the Fresh Access program.

House of Hayes / Sweet Pea Cheese
Visit the Sweet Pea Cheese farm store on East Street for goat and cow dairy products including cheeses in an array of flavors, yogurt, and milk pasteurized at a low temp to preserve beneficial bacteria for our bodies. Their cows and goats are out on pasture when the weather and growing season allows.

Lost Acres Orchard
Lost Acres Orchard on Lost Acres Road is a scenic family-run apple orchard that serves made-from-scratch lunches and offers a wide range of fresh baked goods, cider, jams and jellies, maple syrup, quiche, desserts, and prepared savory take-home foods in their farm store.

Lost Acres Vineyard
In the early 1800's, the Lost Acres area was populated by free-spirited, cider-distilling farmers - and Lost Acres Vineyard continues this tradition with grape wine. The vineyard on Lost Acres Road is now home to 5 acres of wine grapes and offers tastings, local art, concerts, yoga, food trucks, and more.

Lyric Hill Farm
Lyric Hill is a small family farm dedicated to sustainable growing and education. It uses fresh milk from a herd of Alpine dairy goats and a variety of herbs and botanicals grown and collected on the farm to make soaps and other eco-friendly products. The farm store is open year-round.

Maple View Farm
Maple View Farm is a 50 acre, 4th generation farm on Salmon Brook St, featuring an on-farm Brewery serving beer made with local and farm-grown ingredients. The Farm Food service is sourced from farm pastures and gardens. Hike the field loop or explore Salmon Brook during Brewery hours.

Meadow View Horse Farm
Meadow View Horse Farm is a family owned and operated private stable located on the Juniper Drive cul-de-sac. They offer a quiet, beautiful setting and a non-competitive atmosphere where riders of all disciplines are welcome and can explore the adjacent fields and trails.

O'Brien Nursery
O'Brien Nursery on Wells Road features 6 acres of display gardens and is known far and wide for their hosta offerings. They are also a destination for unique shade perennials, along with their wide selection of conifers, special Japanese maples, and numerous dwarf Ginkgo selections.

Sepe Farm/Pirro Farm
A family operation that has been raising sheep since 1963. They feature Connecticut Grown lamb and wool products, ranging from lamb to wool blankets. They also sell breeding stock and hand-spinner fleece upon request.

The Shinder Family raises Scottish Highland Cattle, hay, eggs, and sells firewood on Case Street in West Granby.

Stony Brook Farm is a family owned excavation and construction company located on Granville Road in North Granby.

Strain Family Horse Farm
Strain Family Horse Farm on Sakrison Road is a third generation family business in operation since 1968. They specialize in well-trained, user-friendly horses at reasonable prices. They also run a Saddle Shop and Horse Transportation company.

Sunflower Equestrian
Sunflower Equestrian is a horse boarding facility on Kelly Lane, as a boutique barn they specialize in classical dressage and natural horsemanship.

The Garlic Farm
The Garlic Farm sells great tasting, pesticide-free, fresh vegetables from its barn on Simsbury Road. Renowned for their German White garlic, they also specialize in tomatoes, peppers, onions, and related alliums including leeks and shallots – all raised according to the Northeast Organic Farming Association guidelines.

Valkyrie Equestrian is a high level training and boarding stable on Barndoor Hills Road. Emphasis is on strong horsemanship and professional training programs customized to help riders and horses achieve their goals in the show ring and at home.

Wilhelm Farm is a 35 acre, third generation family farm and forest on North Granby Road. They provide environmental services while sustainably producing food, timber, and non-timber forest products. They are investing in several agroforestry practices, including silvopasture, forest farming, and living snow fences.
