Granby Grange Selfie Scavenger Hunt Rules & Guidelines

🎉 Join the Granby Grange “Selfie” Scavenger Hunt on Granby Open Farm Day 2024! 🎉

Explore the town of Granby, snap selfies at some of its most iconic and beautiful farms around, and win a chance for a grand prize! It’s a fun way to celebrate our local agriculture and community spirit.

Here’s how to participate:

  1. Pick up your Scavenger Hunt Map: On September 14th, stop by Granby Grange #5 or other participating local Granby Farms to pick up your scavenger hunt map. The map will list the specific locations around Granby where you’ll need to take selfies.

  2. Take Selfies: Visit each of the designated spots on the map and snap a selfie. Be creative and have fun with your photos! You must take selfies at all locations to be eligible for the grand prize of a basket filled with Granby goodies.

  3. Check-in at Granby Grange: Once you’ve completed the hunt, return to Granby Grange and show your selfies to one of our volunteers. This can be done by showing the photos on your phone.

  4. Enter to Win: After verifying your selfies, you’ll be entered into a drawing for the grand prize! All valid entries will be collected, and the winner will be announced later in the day.

Rules:

  • Start Time: The scavenger hunt begins at 10:00 AM on Granby Agricultural Day.

  • End Time: All selfies must be shown at Granby Grange by 2:00 PM to qualify for the grand prize drawing.

  • Locations: Selfies must be taken at all locations provided on the scavenger hunt map. Missing even one location will disqualify your entry.

  • Selfie Requirements: You must be clearly visible in each selfie, and the location should be recognizable. No filters or heavy editing that obscures the location.

  • Safety First: Please be mindful of your surroundings while taking selfies. Do not take photos in dangerous areas or while driving. Be respectful of private property.

  • One Entry Per Person: Each participant can only submit one set of selfies for the contest.

  • Grand Prize Drawing: The grand prize will be awarded by a random drawing of all eligible entries. You do not need to be present at the time of the drawing to win.
